Terms and Conditions
Last updated 2026-10-20. NP Link (including NP Link Rates, the "Site") is a set of tools run by NP Collaborator, LLC ("NP Collaborator", "we", "us"). By using the Site, creating a free account or checking the consent box, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
- The rates are public listed rates, for information only. They are not what any claim paid, and your own contract governs.
- What you enter stays anonymous. We combine it with other NPs' entries into de-identified statistics and use those for research, studies, publications and to advocate and negotiate for better pay for NPs and clinicians. Nothing published identifies you.
- Your pricing decisions are yours alone. NP Link is not a way for NPs to agree on prices.
- We never sell your personal information or tell an insurer or platform who you are.
- Disputes go to individual arbitration (you can opt out within 30 days; see section 17).
- "Founding NP" is an honorary, unpaid title. It gives no equity, ownership, pay or other compensation (see section 21).

1. Who can use the Site
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. The Site is meant for nurse practitioners, other clinicians and people who work with them. If you use the Site for an organization, you agree to these Terms for it and confirm you are authorized to do so.
2. Accounts
The free sign-up creates a member dashboard tied to your email. Give accurate information, keep access to your email and devices secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your dashboard at any time.
3. Information, not advice
- Rates are listed contract rates taken from insurers' public Transparency in Coverage files and public Medicare and Medicaid fee schedules. They are not amounts paid on a claim, and they may be out of date, incomplete or apply to plans, networks or groups different from yours.
- A platform's "listed rate" is what an insurer's file shows for the platform's billing group. It is an estimate, it is not what any NP is paid, and the difference is not all kept by the platform.
- Statistics built from user entries (for example pay reports or asks) reflect what users typed. We do not verify them.
- Rate letters, scripts and guides are general templates. You decide whether and how to use them, and you send them yourself, in your own name, about your own contract. We don't guarantee any result from a negotiation.
- Nothing on the Site is legal, billing, coding, tax, financial or contracting advice, and using the Site does not create a professional, agency, fiduciary or attorney-client relationship. Consult a qualified professional before you rely on it.
4. Public data, names and CPT
- We compile public files as published by their sources and may group, filter, round or summarize them. Publishers are not responsible for our analysis, and we are not responsible for errors in their files. If you spot an error, tell us and we will review it.
- Names and marks of insurers, platforms and other companies belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Their appearance does not mean they are affiliated with, endorse or sponsor NP Link, or that they agree with any figure shown. Unless a page says otherwise, NP Link has no relationship with them.
- CPT codes and descriptions are copyright American Medical Association. All rights reserved. CPT is a registered trademark of the AMA. Applicable FARS/DFARS restrictions apply to government use.
5. What you submit
"Submissions" means anything you enter or send: rates, asks ("I am requesting"), pay reports, how you are paid, NPI-card pay, dashboard entries, requests, survey answers, messages and feedback.
Your promises
- Your Submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge and are about your own pay or contracts (or ones you are authorized to share).
- You have the right to share them. Do not submit information you are prohibited from disclosing by a contract, confidentiality clause, employer policy or law. If you are unsure whether your contract allows it, don't submit it or submit only general information.
- No patient information or protected health information, ever.
- No false, misleading or duplicate entries meant to skew statistics.
The license you give us
You keep ownership of your Submissions. You grant NP Collaborator and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, copy, analyze, combine, de-identify, aggregate, adapt, create derivative works from, publish (in de-identified or aggregate form), distribute and otherwise use your Submissions for the purposes in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We will not publish your individual Submission in a way that identifies you, and the license to identifiable Submissions ends when you delete them, except as needed for backups, legal compliance and de-identified or aggregate data already created.
6. Research, studies and advocacy
You agree that we may create de-identified and aggregate data from Submissions and from your use of the Site, combined with other users' data and public data, and use it without further notice or payment to you for any lawful purpose, including:
- Research, surveys, studies, white papers, academic collaborations, press and published reports and benchmarks (for example, what NPs are paid, what they ask for, and how platforms and insurers compare);
- Advocacy and negotiation with insurers, payers, platforms, employers, professional associations, regulators and policymakers on behalf of nurse practitioners and clinicians as a group, including sharing de-identified findings with them;
- Building, improving and offering NP Link and NP Collaborator products and services, including tools, reports and analytics offered to others;
- Any other purpose described in our Privacy Policy.
De-identified and aggregate data contains no names, emails, NPIs, tax IDs or practice names, and figures are released only for groups of at least 5. We own the de-identified and aggregate data and the analyses, reports and databases we create from it. When we advocate or negotiate, we speak for NP Link or NP Collaborator and for clinicians generally, using de-identified data. We do not act as your agent or representative, we do not negotiate your individual contract unless you separately agree in writing, and no one is bound by anything we propose.
7. Independent decisions (antitrust)
Rates on the Site are historical, published or aggregated figures provided to help each clinician make their own decisions. You agree to set your rates, accept or decline contracts, and negotiate independently. Do not use the Site, its data or any NP Link community to agree, coordinate or signal with competitors about prices, rates, boycotts, refusals to contract or allocation of patients or markets. We may remove content and accounts that do.
8. Email
- When you give us your email (for example to sign up, save rates or request a state) and accept these Terms, we may email you what you asked for, and NP Collaborator may send you occasional emails about NP Link and its services for nurse practitioners.
- Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe, honored within 10 business days, or write to [email protected]. We may still send messages needed to run your account.
- We don't sell your email or share it with insurers or platforms. We don't send text messages from this Site; the Text button opens your own phone.
9. Acceptable use
Personal and professional use is welcome, including sharing a result or link with colleagues. You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, copy, download in bulk, mine or resell the Site's data, or use it to build a competing database or product, without our written permission;
- Use bots or automated tools, bypass rate limits, access controls, meters or sign-up screens, or probe, scan or attack the Site;
- Attempt to re-identify any person or practice from de-identified or aggregate data;
- Submit false or misleading information, impersonate anyone, or create accounts in bulk;
- Use the Site to harass, defame or harm anyone, or to violate any law, contract or third party's rights;
- Reverse engineer the Site except where the law allows it, or upload malware.
10. Ownership and your license
The Site, its software, design, text, charts, compiled data tables, analyses and de-identified datasets belong to NP Collaborator or its licensors and are protected by law. The underlying public files belong to their publishers. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Site for your own personal and professional purposes. You may quote individual figures with credit to "NP Link Rates" and a link. All other rights are reserved.
11. Feedback
If you send ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
12. Third parties
The Site links to and relies on third-party sites and services. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content, terms or practices. Your dealings with insurers, platforms, employers and other third parties are solely between you and them.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site, its data and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any figure reflects what you are or will be paid. You use the Site at your own risk.
14. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NP Collaborator, its affiliates and their owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, contracts, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Site, its data or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits apply to every theory of liability and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
15. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless NP Collaborator, its affiliates and their owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents from any claims, damages, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your Submissions, your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms or of any contract or confidentiality obligation, or your violation of law or anyone's rights.
16. Release
If you have a dispute with an insurer, platform, employer or another user, you release NP Collaborator and its affiliates from claims arising out of that dispute, to the extent the law allows. If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code section 1542, which says: "A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party."
17. Disputes and arbitration
- Talk to us first. Before filing a claim, send a written notice describing it to the address below. We'll both try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.
- Binding individual arbitration. If we can't, any dispute arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules, not in court. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek court relief to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property or data.
- No class actions. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims. If 25 or more similar claims are filed by the same or coordinated counsel, they may be administered in batches under the AAA's mass arbitration procedures.
- Opt out. You can opt out of arbitration by sending written notice with your name, address and email to the address below within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
- Law and venue. Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Any matter not arbitrated goes to the state or federal courts in Orange County, Florida, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
- Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent the law allows.
18. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms; we'll post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, give notice on the Site or by email. Changes apply going forward, and continuing to use the Site means you accept them. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or to protect the Site or others. Sections 4 through 7 and 10 through 20 survive termination.
19. Copyright notices
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice with the work, the location on the Site, your contact details, a good-faith statement and your signature to the address below, Attn: Copyright Agent.
20. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If any part is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. There are no third-party beneficiaries. Headings are for convenience only. You agree to receive notices electronically.
21. Founding NP program
From time to time we invite nurse practitioners to try new parts of the Site early, share feedback or add their rates, and we may call them "Founding NPs". If you take part:
- It is an honorary label only. "Founding NP" (and similar words such as founding member, early tester or contributor) is a thank-you name. It is not a job, office, membership interest or legal status.
- No equity or ownership. Taking part does not give you, and is not a promise of, any stock, shares, options, warrants, units, membership interest, profits interest, ownership, phantom equity, token or other security or interest in NP Collaborator, NP Link or any related company, now or in the future.
- No pay or other compensation. You will not receive wages, fees, commissions, royalties, revenue share, profit share, bonuses, credits with cash value, or any other payment or benefit for taking part, for feedback, for data you add, or for inviting others, unless we both sign a separate written agreement that says otherwise.
- No relationship beyond these Terms. Taking part does not make you our employee, contractor, agent, partner, joint venturer, advisor, officer or representative, and does not create any fiduciary duty or duty of confidence either way. You can't make promises or speak for us, and we don't speak for you.
- Voluntary and no promises. Taking part is voluntary and you can stop any time. Any early access, badge, title, mention or feature we offer is a courtesy we may change or end at any time without notice or liability. We make no promise of future products, prices, access, recognition or benefits.
- What you add is covered by these Terms. Rates, reports, feedback, screenshots and other things you add as a Founding NP are submissions under sections 5, 6, 10 and 11 (including the license you give us there). They are used in aggregate and de-identified; nothing published identifies you.
- Invites. If you invite other people, only invite people who would want to hear from you, follow the law and the platform's rules where you share, and don't describe the program as paid, an investment, or a way to earn anything.
- We can change or end the program. We may change who is invited, rename or end the program at any time. Sections 13 to 17 apply to it.
