Why an NP built this
Most NPs negotiate blind. A payer, a platform or a group quotes a number and there's nothing to compare it to. Insurers are now required to publish their contracted rates, but the files are enormous and unreadable without engineering help.
Chris saw the same problem with collaborating-physician fees: NPs being quoted over $1,000 a month while most pay $499 to $599. His team published the numbers from 2,000+ real signed contracts in The Fair Price for Collaboration Report. NP Link Rates does the same for insurer pay: real published numbers, in plain language, so you can see where you stand and ask for more.
What we believe
- NPs deserve the same information payers have. Every rate here comes from public insurer files or public Medicare and Medicaid fee schedules.
- Free and open. State medians are free to look at, no sign-up. Your saved rates are private to your account.
- Honest numbers. We publish a typical rate only when 5+ billing groups list it, and we tell you what's missing. How the data works.
- NP-first. We add states and insurers in the order NPs ask for them. Ask for your state, or request an insurer on any state's rates page.
